Any idea when these babies are going to be offered in laptops? I know it took quite a while to get the quad cores.

WOW ouch. I've been considering upgrading my laptop but I thought I might wait until I could get them, so much for that. Would DS upgrade my laptop even though it's an alienware? I've had some bad experiences so far with AW tech support, and nothing but greatness from DS.

Havendale and Lynnfield (mainstream desktop versions of core i7) are expected in 2H 2009 and mobile versions (Clarksfield & A~dale*) should follow in Q1 2010 =(

You would have to call them and see if they will upgrade it but since alienware, I'm gonna guess the answer is no.
