IBM announces new supercomputer

IBM has a new supercomputer. Here are some of it's statistics:

It has 4,609 interconnected nodes, each node has 2 IBM Power9 chips and each of those has 22 processing cores that run in parallel. Each pair of Power9 chips has 6 NVIDIA Tesla V100 graphics chips connected to them.   If my math is correct that is a whapping 27,654 V100 chips.

Each node has 1.6 terabytes of memory. Data can be saved at 2.2terabytes/second on a 250 petabyte storage system.

  Awesome Congrats. Did you get it lc and oc to the max? That new 32K projector needs some lanes to holograph at decent frame rates. LOL
