We have some really cool and unique features coming to the configurator very soon. We wanted to ask you guys, what other options would you have loved to see?
 
As of right now, this is what we are adding:
  1. Exterior Accent Paint Finishes (paint the grill(s), hose clamps, main case screws, etc)
  2. Chassis Air-Flow Packages (we are breaking up the Stage 3 Wind Tunnel Package)
  3. Chassis Modifications (we recently purchased machinery to do mods for customers such as drill custom blow holes into the chassis or side window)
  4. Special notes/comments for assembly\testing team in regards to your configuration

well . i know im deffinatly sending my rig back for some cosmetic upgrades.such as UV coolant, red hose clamps. maybe ill be the first person to have a difference color HAF. who knows. when will all this go into effect Alex ?

Opt1--those who love fancy wheels/tires/pinstripes; gold,blue,whatever their flavor...
Opt2--not familiar with the wind tunnel...
Opt3--would be nice to have another fan or two installed on the side window on the 950Si case.
Opt4--Nice to have tech/support staff email purchasers in detail on how their rigs are progressing through testing.

come to think of it number 2 does concern me,

Chassis Air-Flow Packages (we are breaking up the Stage 3 Wind Tunnel Package)

can you explain a bit more detail, what the new packages are and how they are different? if you could use a HAF as an example that would be great

With the air flow packages, I'd like to see options for various fans. I.E. LED fans, high output fans, or silent fans. So many places claim silent fans for what are clearly audible fans.
I'd like to see the lighting option of UV plus LED lighting as a choice. LED lighting is much easier on those with epilepsy, there isn't a ballast to cause hum and they take less power.
How about the option of adding a window to cases that didn't come with one? Well, mebbe that doesn't apply to very many...

Oh yeah... Because I kinda thought about green LED fans but I already preordered red Steelseries headphones because I have to have everything matching...

and to add.. DS gets better daily. since iv ordered my system they've introduced the new packaging foam, now their introducing all these new cosmetic features and other cool order ugrades. i may have to start saving some money for all this. i can't keep up with you guys

We already began switching all optical drives to SATA now. We aren't all out of IDE just yet.
 
The performance difference between the two are nearly the same.

Pics would definitely be helpful such as where additional fans could be placed, different color schemes, lighting, etc. on various chassis...

Not an option more like a constructive suggestion....

For the love of god post pictures of how the color of the exterior/interior painting choices would look like.

You don't just fork over $260 without having a clue what it would look like at least lol.

Well this'll be hard to show it per computer.

Maybe just show a paint template sample or something of how it would look like,  or select a default chassis to represent each color.

I'd like to see more love for AMD! I mean, where's the 790FX / SB750 mobo and the 9950BE Phenom X4? That's the top AMD setup atm. That mobo will be able to take the new Phenom II X4 940 cpu and has already seen OC of 3.6 on air courtesy of some e-Mags. I think it's worthy of being offered by DSO as an alternative to Intel. I just like the idea of all major components coming from the same company. If games were offered for both windows and leopard, I'd prolly be an apple fan... Embarrassed

P.S. I'm just saying that compatibility issues are reduced since they aren't hiding trade secrets from themselves. Parts are meant to work with each other and perhaps even optimised.
