I've seen where the 6850k will oc a tad higher than the 6900k (maybe up to 4.5 GHz), but these procs are 2 years old, and I don't see where DS offers them in the configurator.

I might suggest you look at the i7 8086k (6 core) that Turbos to 5GHz, but I'm confused where you saw the Broadwells offered, and I'm a little out of my depth anyway. Sorry.

i would go with a Ryzen 7 2700X over both.  similar performance for insanely cheaper price.
