So I've been wondering about the next-gen consoles, and I got to thinking, what kind of config would I put in front of Sony/Microsoft if I was asked to spec out their next console?

Just something for fun to do if you're bored. Maybe vote for a winner later? And if you win, Alex buys you dinner!!!! ^_^

That is easy. Send them a DS computer with Tri SLI 680s and a 3960X CPU and say beat this.

Interestingly enough - 'Steamboxes' are becoming a concept trend.
 
Basicly shuttle PCs with Steam framework to do only steam games.
