Ouch Ok, I have a very important question, is there really a big difference between doing a total customized build versus a pre-built?

LOL ah the meat and potatoe questions :D, I am looking to game at 1920 x 1080 on a 24 inch monitor, I play WoW like an addict lol, will play Diablo 3 when it ever comes out and any other day to day task that is usual like surfing the internet and stuff. Budget...well here is the thing, I need to get two computers, one for me and one for my wife. Trying to stay at around 2500 each if I can. I think up to 3k might be managable.

to be honest even this is more then she will ever need, personally I would not even use the 5850 for her, its has more power then she will ever need, put her in a 260 gtx or a 275 or better yet a gts 250, which will have much more power then she needs still.

the above config with a gts 250 comes out to be around $1700, with all due respect, you guys would be crazy to not do that, why pay so much for something that will never be used?
