We'd love to get you this case. Heck, we'd just plain love to get our hands on this case to tweak it out and try to perfect it. Unfortunately it's all a part of Apple's game plan to keep that case a company exclusive. Meaning no one can get you this case but Apple I'm afraid. Sorry.

Doing a brain transplant would result in two pretty amusing machines. A Mac in a Twister Lite or Twister Value case would probably cause a few double takes.

Alex,
Before you commit to putting PC guts in a MAC case, you might want to check out the following: http://www.overclockers.com/tips1133/
seems theres quite a few mods that need to be made to the stock G5 case to get all of the PC hardware in it. Not doubting that you guys can do it.. just letting you know that there's going to be some work involved. If you perfect the process, I'm sure you'll have lots of customers lined up. Maybe it's an idea for your sticky on new case designs.

The place I use to work at, they make signes that light up. When I worked there I did everything such as cutting metal, using a routine to cut some different shapes for metal, I did the metal bending, wiring, wielding, and made the complete outer shell of signs(frame). The frames I would make would be
height: 15ft
length: 12ft
I did everything, there were two of use. After thinking about it, I wonder if I should grab some sheets of aluminum (about 3/8 thick....hmmm mabey alittle less) go down there and use that router to cut the pieces I need and to bend certain parts. I never thought of it, but I could definitly designe a case LOL.
just making these signes I would have to be PERFECTLY precise on my measurments and cutting. Edited by Bigdog - 18 Oct 2007 at 3:59am |
