Hello all i have a GTX 280 and im getting about 90 to 92 FPS i was wondering how you can increase FPS? somebody told me they got 300 fps? what is the average for a GTX 280?

In order to play any Game 40 FPS is all that is required, the human eye starts to lose ability to differentiate at that point.

30+ FPS is playable but may occasionally look a bit jerky as most FPS measurements are averages, which means your lows will be bad, like in the teens or twenties which is not good for play at all.

Most times you want your average to be about 60 because that keeps your minimum (in most cases) above that 40 FPS magical number that fools the human eye.

Anything more is just penis waving... look how big mine is eh!
