I've read the stickies that just list a bunch of different programs but I am looking for some more specific help for increasing the OC on my CPU. I don't need to increase it too much but am looking to maybe push it to around 4.2GHz, which my A70 should be more then capable of handling..
I would prefer to increase the OC using what ever program DS uses and to stress test it to make sure it is stable, again using what ever program DS uses for that. Does anyone know what those programs are and can someone help walk me through it. |

Call DS and let them walk you thru the oc, the programs they use are probably prime, linx and stuff like that, its not about the program, its about the stress and how the cpu behaves under it, I normally use fah for stress testing, it seems to put the most stress on the cpu/gpu and I can see temps and etc under it.

A side note on this for anyone else looking to do this. DS will not even speak to you about increasing your over clock unless you pay them for it. Even though you are looking to do the work yourself they will not help walk you through increasing your over clock unless you pay them.
And per DS it voids the entire warranty if you touch your OC with out paying them and increasing your OC the way they tell you to do it. The only issue with that as we all know from feedback on the forums is they do not always do the over clock correctly. |

I understand you may be frustrated that our team won't help you increase the overclock, but, it's a service we charge for. If you would like to go to a higher package, as all other customers, you'll need to pay for the upgrade.
In regards to testing software, we use Prime95, Linpack (LinX) for CPU/Memory stability testing.

Which oc stage did you have? since we tell everybody to get stage 2, that leaves room to call them back and up it if you want for free.
How much did they want jm299? |

You can read the manual that comes with your motherboard and it will tell you how to increase the overclock/voltage.
