I am completely unfamiliar with SSD's do you install a game on an SSD to increase load times or how does that work?

well they are actually both server and you based
it will help but probably just to load the game and instances

Same amount as on a normal HDD, like 15GB. Page file for me was another 6GB when leaving it up to Windows, but you can definitely make that much smaller or even turn it off should you choose.
