Intel 14-Series Motherboards

I am thinking about buying a new Lumos.

I know that it is likely that Intel will release a new product line, the 14-Series in October. The word that I heard is that it will be a "refreshed" version of the 13-Series.

Assuming what I just typed is correct, will the same 13-Series motherboards be hosting the 14-Series, or will the motherboards also be changed?

if you haven't found out already, yes the 14th "gen" is just a refresh of 13th, no new generational improvements. they are just slightly faster. and yes they are still on LGA 1700 so no new motherboard required. I wouldnt waste your money on 14's. go 13's
