The Intel i7 975 is a great processor! Hands down.

We have successfully overclocked a i7 975 on liquid cooling to 4.6GHz with complete stability, passing our major stability test. Load temperatures are about 75'C-80'C on this processor as well which such a high overclock.

We could push it higher from what it seems, but, it would make therms and fine-tuning a nightmare.

Great news...will you be setting the OC'ing on the 975 into two choices/stages also?  And what might they be??   Any different cost structure to do so...from the stage 1...stage 2 now?

Have you picked a date yet...or holding out for some other things coming down the line in the next couple of months?

Working with DS on some info, and waiting to get back on my feet to a 100% from some health problems, also waiting to see for the single PCB 295 and trying to see if 4 x single PCB 295 will fit on a classified/HAF on LC.

with a little luck T-minus 30 days

Hope you're back to 100% soon...   No rush on "starting the clock"...plus or minus a couple of days from "30" doesn't seem so long when it's been over a year already--right.  Hug
