This driver loves to lower clock speeds but never raise them anywhere near my maximum, even under load. Anyone know a way to tweak this a bit better rather than completely disabling it?
If it's disabled the Processor runs constantly at 4GHZ which drives temps from high 20's to low 30's. Even with this constant 4GHZ the Processor is still the coolest device in the system. I don't mind a dynamic clock speed, just want to actually use more than 3.2GHz under load. |

Your cpu will raise its speed as needed, if you don't see you max speed its because the cpu does not need to go that high to meet the demand, try using a program that puts stress on the cpu properly then you will see your max speed. You don't want to run your cpu at full speed when there is no reason to.
If you want to have a constant oc speed you need to disable speed step, your oc settings are in the bios. |
