Interested in Custom Computer built

Guys, I don't have a digtal storm computer but I just bought a big machine and I'm having lots of problems with it so when I get some more money, I plan on possibly having another machine built but I have a few questions.

How CUSTOM are these computers and will whatever I order be supported?

I would for instance like a raid card and 6 drives set up in maybe raid 6 or something.

Possibly two OS drives striped and with an image made with Acronis so that if something happens, I can be up and running with all my software in hours.

This was an issue on my current system and we finally had to back the system down to ONE drive from the initial three striped drives.

I now have one os drive with is cloned on another drive in case I need to start fresh.

This is MORE important to me than anything else because I usually have around 40-50 programs installed and I have little desire to redo all that in a crash and I HAVE had crashes before.

Data integrity is only secondary as I tend to back up my stuff anyway.

Note, I am NOT a gamer so I don't need gaming speed. I use corel draw and photoshop and similar programs. I do NOT do video editing but I like lots of storage.

I have the WD 1.5TB drives which I am having probs with which is why I possibly want 6 drives as I want to go back down to 1TB's so I thought 6x1TB and a nice 3ware raid card or something.

XP 32 bit with a possible dual boot (when it comes out) with Win7 64 bit.

Well, I'm sure others have more proggies installed but regardless, I'd rather let someone else have the world record, I just don't want to have to reinstall all that sh*t every time something happens  :(

As for the raid 6, I now have 5 in a nas and I thought i'd bump it up in redundancy but bottom line is, I like storage and I have a lot of files so I need/want more than one or two drives.

So, will the company support ANY configuration, as long as they sell it?

Could I supply my own case and other components too? SUch as the raid card and all that.

So, you just call them and talk to them or send them an outline of what you want?

Anywhere, as for the support...?

By the way, do you get stars for the quality or amount of posts? Usually it's the amount and if so, at 11k post plus, you'd think you would be up to 5 stars dude  :)
