Nvidia has rolled back the recommended driver on their website to 175.19 on any GPU below the 100 series.  I wonder what's up with that.  I'm keeping 191.07 installed simply because I haven't had any issues with it thus far.

No, my temps haven't been touched.  My rig still idles around 35c to 37c and maxes out around 85c while gaming.  Have you read anything about the 190 & 191 drivers having issues?  I did read a bit on the Nvidia forums about this series of drivers creating some issues.

When you say lost temp readings, what do you mean by that?

Ok, they rolled them forward and back to 191.07 now.

Silly wabbits, tricks are for hookers.

I mean when I use say evga precision tool, or realtemp, or G-puz, furmark, ect  the temp reads 0..  seems this has happened to thers, but maybe the commonality is with windows 7?  not worried about it, it is just my wifes 3 rigs than run Nvidia cards. Smile I know it will be fixed in a new driver.

Not wanting to be Chicken Little with the sky falling here, but there's a lot of furor over problems with the 191.07 drivers.

Supposedly only affects mobo's with the nf200 chip installed, though. The EVGA 759, 762.

I've got DS's EVGA X58 3X SLI (132-BL-E758-TR) - pretty darn sure that's the model number as I read it off the mobo's tag.

So supposedly I don't have to worry about this problem.

There are also reports the driver causes the GPU's to run a lot hotter. (?)

Anyway, here's the thread (Evga boards): http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100949351

As far as the lost temps go, it's a known issue between Nvidia <-> Precision.

Mine weren't displaying zero, they were showing some crazy number in the trillions of degrees (hotter than the sun! ). Then the temps disappeared entirely, Precison refused to display them.

The only fix I've found for it so far is to use regedit:

Until the problem is fixed by NVIDIA, there are still some temporary tricks allowing to solve it. First, you may just perform complete Foreware re-install, this will also cause precached thermal sensor information to be removed from the registry and to be re-detected by ForceWare on the next start.

Second, you may manually remove corrupted thermal sensor information from the registry and this way cause the ForceWare to re-detect it on the next reboot. To do it open regedit then search and delete all instances of RmThermalProviderInfo and RmThermalProviderNum entries in the registry. Then reboot.

From the thread:
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100919667

This worked for me. I made sure to backup my registry, used regedit's Find to locate anything with "ThermalProvider" in it (there's more than a few) and deleted them. Ran Registry Mechanic before and afterwards.

Once I rebooted the temp displays returned to Precision.

Yeah, I haven't had any issues with this driver.  I'll continue to use it.
