Internet Access In Ubcd4Win?

I successfully booted into UBCD4WIN. i have internet access (i opened Firefox and went to a few sites and it loaded fine.) However when i try to update my anti virus/anti spyware programs, it does not update, saying i have no connection. is there a way to update them?
