Hi,

Due to living in a fairly rural area, my only options for internet are Satellite, which I currently have, or mobile broadband. 

Satellite bl0ws in every way possible, so I'm going to go with Verizon.  I'm looking at getting a CradlePoint MBR1000, and am wondering if by purchasing a Blackberry with a data only plan and paying for tethering, will I really avoid the 5GB/Month limit?

Has anyone done this, can anyone comment on performance (pings/speeds) using BB/tethering vs an air card plugged into the router?

Any advice you can provide is greatly appreciated.
