Too scared to update to the latest nvidia driver since last time I updated to 416.81 I had a crazy stuttering issue and freezes specially while in the desktop and browsing the web. It even turns off my monitor display for a sec then turns it back on again. I had to roll back to 416.34 and the problem went away. This time I'm reconsidering updating to the latest one hoping that it's fixed now but I wanna hear some of your thoughts and opinions about this.
My system specs: -ASUS/GIGABYTE (Intel H110 Chipset) -6500k 3.2GHz (Codename Skylake) (Quad Core) -GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (VR Ready) -8GB DDR4 2133MHz -600W 80 Plus EVGA/Corsair -Storage (1TB Seagate / Toshiba) -SSD (120GB Digital Storm Performance Series) -Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 Automatic Overclocking |

As I suggested in the other post , that it’s a fingers crossed thing. No guarantees, with most having no trouble but others not so lucky. Your version of Windows and it’s updates, other drivers and components in your system all play a role.
I’ve checked on the web and haven’t seen any problems. Unfortunately, you won’t know until you update. I and others here can update very successfully and then you update and have issues. |

Well I guess I'll never know unless I try. Thanks! Do you happen to have the latest update too?

A we stated in your other driver post, most of us don't upgrade unless something is amiss and the upgrade notes state it addresses that issue. Constant upgrading only causes issues because of not completely uninstalled previous drivers. |
