I bought my Krypton laptop 4 1/2 years ago or so
NVIDIA GTX 970
32 Gigs of DDR3
17" LAPTOP
Cant remember the cpu processor, i think its intel i7 4000mq something. I cant remember what came after the 4 on the cpu.
120 GB SSD

I was hoping to get advice on to either to send this laptop in to get it serviced, but also upgrades. If someone knows what I can upgrade on this laptop that would be great.
Or get a new laptop and why? I would like to keep this laptop because the new 17" cost too much.

I would be very surprised if you can do any worthwhile upgrade to a laptop over 2 years old.  Newer video cards just don't fit and any cpu upgrade would be little difference for a huge cost of the part.

Gaming laptops, regardless of their marketing just aren't upgradeable.
