4 threads vs 8 vs 12.
i5 is  budget chip.
 
i9 is proving to be an incredible chip.. most i7's are maxing out around 4.7-5.2Ghz bench stable  i9's are going 5.3-6.1Ghz bench stable, with 4 more threads.. very impressive!
