For gaming, you're throwing away the money for 64GB of RAM. It's priced right just now for a jump to 32GB if you want, but 64 will not do a thing for you. By contrast you pick the entry-level motherboard. I recommend the Gaming Pro Carbon with built-in WiFi, but the ROG Strix would be okay. There's no need at all for a 1000W PSU, and the 850W Corsair comes with a much better warranty than the DS brand.
I highly recommend the Corsair H115i all-in-one cooler for the level 2 overclock. Again, the DS parts only carry the warranty you pay for from DS, the Corsair is warranted for 5 years. We don't recommend overclocking video cards on air alone. Not much of a boost in performance, but it makes the card run hotter and spin up the fairly loud fans more often. Everything else is good to go. |

Yup. DS will carefully assemble your build, then it will be stress tested at full gaming load to make sure it works perfectly before it gets boxed and shipped to you. If your games work with Windows 10, then yes the rig will be compatible...lol.
My forum pal Cretae gave you good advice above that I also agree with. You will want the better performance Corsair H115i AIO cooler. and the 850W Corsair PSU. The 64 GB RAM is overkill for just gaming...nothing wrong with that at all if you have the funds...but you would still be heavy on RAM with just 32 GB. Gaming still won’t use much beyond 16 GB RAM these days, but multi-tasking and certain photo and video applications would make use of the extra RAM. |
