I just now received my new PC in the mail. It seems to run alright, but the front of the case is... bent. I'm not sure if this is intentional or was some kind of mistake in construction (there is no way this could be shipping damage - not to such a specific spot).

Sure Looks odd to me, but I don’t have a Velox back door view to compare.
Best to email DS Manager Alex promptly with those images and see what he says. I know they take QC images before packaging, but not sure that will include the case backdoor. DS waited so long for those customs delayed black Velox cases to arrive! Glad the rig is working well for you! The most important thing... [email protected].

That is not supposed to look like that and neither is the front panel to be so separated on the top. The panels all fit flush with each other. That got whacked pretty good but it sure looks like it was built that way. Sure would like to see the images prior to shipping. Definitely call DS or e-mail Alex, as HockeyBuck suggested.

Yeah, I just sent an email. From appearances, it looks like the entire front face of the PC was given a good, hard kick. But the box wasn't damaged at all, and that doesn't account for the "tab" effect on the side panel.
I'll be honest: I feel like the case was assembled by a novice without any kind of oversight. Like, this looks like a classic example of someone misreading instructions and trying to force something together. I *really* don't want to have to wait more time for this to get rectified. Sigh. ![]() Edited by ShrikeArghast - 19 Nov 2019 at 2:53pm |

Wow... that's not how it's supposed to look. Your system was mishandled in shipping.
I assure you with 100% confidence, it did not leave our facility like that, none of our team members would even remotely allow it. I received your email with photos, I'll share with our Customer Service Manager (Ron) and he will be in touch so we can figure out the best plan of action. Rest assured we will help take care of you and make this as quick as possible. |
