Finally it is here. Took along time to get almost all the edge tape off, but still am having trouble with the rest. I have not even started to add games, as I have to redo my passwords for all my other stuff.
I can tell you all this, this PC is FRECKING HUGE. I could put a full size car tire in the case. The box also had what looked like a huge slashing stab wound in the one side. And there was NO expanding foam inside at all. Have a crap load to do with this PC before I can do the game installs alone not to say the game runs. Am not sure when I will be back, cause of all the stuff I have to do with this PC 1st. |

Just to note and some people do this accidently, but make sure you plug the dvi or hdmi into the graphics port and not the motherboard ones. Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 03 Jul 2014 at 2:11pm |

Hey PC - what were your solutions to the issues you were having with SLI? Do you have SLI functioning now?

Heh, thanks. I'm not a huge fan of problems that "solve themselves" or "just go away". Usually there's a reason it started, and there should be a reason for it no longer being an issue.
Or, in this case, the "work around" that PcKiller mentioned in another post. I presume that to mean he didn't just pull out one of the cards and is no longer runing in SLI ;) but i'm interested to hear what the solution was.

I have found 3 workarounds that work for me!
1. 1st was to disable SLI and use 1st card as the main, and lock the second as PhysX. 2. Second have SLI running and to use window mode on all games in the game's options. The above cleared up all blue flashing for me. Now, third work around, and it is what I am using, Is to have SLI running, and in the Nvidia Control Panel, set v-sync to Adaptive v-sync. Now with this one, you will see the blue flashes, but only in cutsences and load screens. In game there is no flashing at all. Hope this helps you out. I am using 2 GTX 780's. Not sure if it will work on ATI or other cards. At no times did any 780 get unplugged from the PC. Edited by PcKiller - 12 Jul 2014 at 12:27pm |
