Ugh…Less than a year old. Have something growing in the reservoir. Not my first rodeo with liquid cooling. Never had a growth but also never used a reservoir before. Also every other build cleaning was simple, this build the inconvenience level of even filling on a scale of 1-10 1= Dead Easy 10= Impossible, this is about a 9.

Not sure if additives are available that won’t harm the parts or endanger the system if a leak somehow happens.

Call DS to advise them of the matter ASAP (also find out what coolant was used and ask for more, you might need it) What open loop did you order? Pro or Lite?

You should not have anything but coolant in the loop. There are anti mold additives but you have to make sure they will not create more issues with the hardware.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah I’ll reach out to them. It was a custom job, cpu and video card. I’d have to look at my order sheet for specifics. With the price I would want to say pro lol

If the gpu is connected it's probably the PRO.
It makes no difference, my coolant is 5 years old and crystal clear still. You should not have mold at all unless it was a bad batch of coolant, something else is amiss or it got contaminated somehow.
