Ok, so I have a few questions.
First, does the Samsung 24" moniter run at 1680x1050 or 1920x1080?

Second, around how much extra would it cost to have white tubing instead of clear?

Third, will the Core i7 950 perform as good as the Core i7 975 Extreme if they are clocked the same?

And lastly, If I choose not to have an OS pre-installed (will use Windows 7) can DS still overclock?

Sorry for so many Q's!
Thanks for any help!

1. 1900 x 1200

2. not sure you have to ask DS but it won't be much, its the price of the tubing + 30% of its cost.

3. go with 920 it will perform the same in games.

4. yes

now few questions for you since you have some stuff in there you don't need, you can spend that money better and get a better PC.

what is the main use of this PC going to be? what will the secondary use of this PC be?

last there is no point to look at these specs right now, hardware and prices change and in a couple of month we would config a whole different PC for you most likely.

Main purpose;  Demanding games such as Crysis Max settings at native resolution on a 24"+ moniter.
Secondary purpose(s); Benchmarks such as Vantage, 3Dmark06, etc.; some internet but rarely.

go with 920, drop to 6GB of ram you will never notice the difference. I say go with 2 x 275, only in crysis will you see a difference from Tri sli, otherwise dual sli will give smooth performance in all games at 1900 x 1200, but benchmark-wise your score will be lower.

the 120GB OCZ in raid 0 will give you the same performance as the 250GB in raid.

if you have everything liquid cooled then drop the upgrade fan and LCD temp control, you have no use for them.

to be honest I would change lot of things in your config if it was not for your benching, in gaming lot of things you have makes no difference, but in benchmarks they will.

@harleyman; I never thought about doing that! ThanksOuch

@DST4ME; Yeah, My friend has a single GTX285 on a 19" at 1440x900. To be honest if I was just going to game that would be abs. fine for me. But the benchmarking Im going to do means extra money, but thats fine I have it to spend.

my only thing is get the monitor from somewhere else you can find it cheeper + DS wont cover it in their warranty, same with the speakers. Also, y do you need 2 optical drives?
