We have used ABit motherboards in the past. We have had such few issues with nVidia eVGA boards that for the time being we are very content with keeping them. Keep in mind that we can special order absolutely anything you want!

It was definitely a good idea....
When I first started working here I suggested to offer more hardware, but they Alex pretty much has it down to a science now... |

Well in the context of the 680i chipset he's absolutely right. Quite possibly one of the flakiest and shakiest chipsets I've ever seen. Even ASUS, who admittedly has been on a bit of downturn of late but still makes solid stuff, can't seem to handle it well. No one can, except evga (and even then there's a few bad apples in the bunch as I'm sure the build dev's at DS can attest. If there there is a time to have a custom-house make you a PC, this is the chipset for it. Woe to the hobby builder, RMA-city right now. Just read the reviews on Newegg)
If you want a solid SLi configuration on the 600 series chipset, the evga boards offer the best bang for performance buck and so far have acted up the least. The real excitement begins when the board makers get their feet on the ground a bit more and churn out 2nd gen and 2.0 versions. Edited by CapnBiggles - 15 Aug 2007 at 3:09pm |
