Your site seems to be the only one with a Corsair P256 in stock, except for Amazon who is actually charging more for it than the MSRP! I got the drive plus overnight shipping for much less than Amazon would have charged for a couple week shipping.
I've got a couple questions though.. 1) Obviously, it's Sat so it's prob not getting processed today. When do you think I'd get the drive. Tuesday maybe? 2) What's the probability that a dying hardrive that is experiencing increased vibration issues can cause damage to other system components? I'm worried about how the vibration might hurt other system components, especially my fans. Fans are relatively cheap but it'd still be a pain the ass to have to replace them all.. especially my top one which took more than a little effort to get it to fit. I can answer the first question for you. If your order gets successfully processed on Monday and the drives are in stock, you will receive them on Tuesday if you've requited Overnight shipping..

The vibration isnt going to hurt anything.
But it also depends on where it is located. Unless its crazy vibrating, In which then you should replace the hard drive for a new one. Also make sure your hard drives are properly secured and the rubber anti-vibration pads on most hard drives help. |
