I knew you would respond DST, always can count on you, no it's not overclocked as far as I know, my wife wanted me to shop around and the config on this is pretty out there for 5000. Honestly, the only thing that impressed  me is the 650 in discounts.

As usual, I need to get the wife off my but about price, but the comp from stars with a V, ends in R and has 5 letters, has more hd space, and for the price includes monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse.... I know I want to go with DS, but everyone with a wife knows how that argument can be when spending lots of moneyWink

Mordrick,

You got a nice BOM (Bag of Materials) there, but you might as well list a shopping cart from NewEgg. I don't know what a comparable machine from DSO would cost. Strangely, I didn't notice any prices for the suggested alternatives. Regardless, the issue, particularly if you are going to spend that kind of money, is how good a job will the builder do bolting all that junk together, how good is their tech support for relatively minor stuff, and how good's the warranty in case disaster strikes.....

But, I'm sure you've heard this tune before.

295 is an sli card, it like 2 x 260+, but you can disable sli on the card if needed.

now you are better off doing this, forget the raid, in a few month there is gonna be some real fast SSDs out with better pricing, and they will faster then your raid veloci, also raid improves your seek time very very little almost nothing, an SSD has basically no seek time.

OK so here you go:

now I can find this configuration some place else for cheaper but what happens is that the cheaper ones use refurbish stuff or cut corners and in short even tho on paper they look the same in actually they are not the same, also after being here for almost a year and seeing how DS deals with their customers, there is nobody else I would trust with my money other then DS.

Keep in mind you got a 5year warranty on the whole system head to toe, this system will be oced so its going to be faster then a core i7 965 stock, and the warranty covers to OC, so there is nothing to worry about, you can check the review section here and you will see many people with pretty much the same setups as yours, as far as CPU, cooler, case, ram, GPU PSU and you can see what the system looks like and what other customers are saying about their system.

I'm sure you have some questions so let hear them

Trust me, you don't have to sell DS on me, my mind is way made up, the only thing I am waiting for is my WK settlement to purchase Ermm So honestly, is it easier to do the 295 and disable sli or go with the two 285?

OH, the other question is, will you be able to run dual monitors with either the 295 or dual 285's?

Not sure about the max Samsung resolution, if it's 24" I'd guess it's 1920 X 1200, but you should call and find out.

If it's mainly WoW we're talking about, I wouldn't get the 295 or the dual 285's, it's just wasted on WoW.  Just get 1 285.  If you move on to some games that use SLI, you can always pick up another 285 later for SLI, and it will probably cost less by then as well.  At 1920 X 1200, I would guess that even a single 285 coupled with a good cpu can max out WoW.  If it can't, then nothing can.
