Just got my Vanquish 2 tier 3 !

I have never had a PC so fast, so cool and so quiet.

I actually feel like I am being trolled and it's too good to be true, there's no way a computer can be this efficient.

This is my dream computer thus far and a wonderful deal. My first impression was that the wiring was done very professionally and neat.

Lots of room for expansion.

When I was in the process of building a computer on another company's site I remembered my friends glowing review for digital storm, but I had heard that digital storm was more expensive because of the excellent customer support and quality control.

I had taken hours to carefully choose the components I wanted and it was DESTINY, I had somehow built the tier 3 vanquish in essence on the other site, same processor and graphics card, which bugged me out..THEN I LOOKED AT THE PRICE AND IT WAS 400 DOLLARS CHEAPER.

I made my purchase almost immediately. I love the components in this system.

Still a bit shocked at how the rig is literally silent, is that normal? Why is it so cold? WTF!

I had one question. Do the blue lights in the front increase heat or demand much power? I assume not. I like how they illuminate the fans, just want to make sure it's not something that could decrease PSU life long term or draw lots of power.

I am upgrading from a Sony Vaio laptop that lasted well, but started to crash during games of league of legends for no apparent reason. It was also a portable heater.

Also I know this Digital Storm Vanquish is advertised as a mid level rig, but it feels like a very high end PC to me. I know who I will buy my next computer from. The PC shipped within the 72 hour time frame as advertised and arrived in perfect condition. I am hyper critical, so to impress me like this is an accomplishment in itself.

Blue fan lights are small LEDs that produce no heat and use very little power.  Just a simple diode, from what I understand, that glows blue.

There's another thread around here about the fans and how they operate.  I've learned how to turn mine on the very highest settings so I could hear them once in awhile.  That's why I like the blue lights so I can see if they are running.
