I'm not sure why you posted your build without comment on what you'll use it for, or why you think the parts selected are good choices.
Assuming you sorta-kinda know what you want/need, the only comment I have is you have sold your build short regarding the choice of CPU. The best word to describe the 10980 XE is obsolete. Not only does it underperform the latest chips from both AMD and Intel, it doesn't even support PCIe Generation 4. Gen 4 doubles the bandwidth from Gen 3. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-10980XE-vs-AMD-Ryzen-9-5950X/m935899vs4086 https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-12900K-vs-Intel-Core-i9-10980XE/4118vsm935899 The 12900K opens the door for DDR5 RAM. DDR5 provides up to 50% more bandwidth over DDR4. It seems the 10980 is more expensive than either alternate choice, but falls woefully short as a number-cruncher. ![]() |

As usual, @Cretae hits the key points.

Again, very key point. I'll add that DDR5 is still in infancy and RAM speed importance/benefit varies by software/task. [URL=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIN8lLhSqmg] If DDR5 isn't substantial for your use/you will replace the system before DDR5 has matured as well as need great multithread, the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are a solid choice.
