Just completed the order forms for my new system. First time ordering something from DS and from what I hear this is a kickass company. After much consideration I decided to go with the Intel SSD drive and I'm crossing my fingers because of potential longevity issues.

Anyone know just how high up DS will OC the 2.66ghz processor? 3.3+ would be nice

every CPU is different, butDigital Storm usually gets 3.5Ghz-3.8Ghz, and truth be known all 920's will doat least  4.0Ghz but some chips take a lot more work to get them there.

Justin.kerr,
Currently my Hailstorm is overclocked to 3.92. How hard would it be to take it to 4.5? i am not that knowledgeable so would need some help from an expert like yourself.

3.92 is a good overclock, and I don't know if you will still have warranty with a 4.5Ghz overclock?
When I helped born2rade we stopped at 4.2Ghz because of the warranty concerns, and also at that speed overclocking the RAM comes into play, or a huge drop in RAM speed.
It is hard to overclock over the Internet, I have helped a lot of people do mild overclocks, but a 4.5Ghz one could be kinda tough, most all the new D0 920's will do 4.3Ghz-4.6Ghz.
If I had it in front of me, and the cooling was good enough, 4.3 to 4.6 would be a snap, but over the web, it might not go so smooth lol
So since you are at nearly 4.0 and going to 4.2 would be so insignificant I would prolly just be happy with what you have, lol

Hijacking my thread are we? :P

I chose air cooling because I didn't want to deal with the LC stuff (I hear its a hassle) In the future when much higher graphics intensive games are out will I be fine adding another 5970 or would I need to upgrade to LC at that point?

Also, I rarely see anyone with an Asus Mobo...just suprised since the P6X58D got really good reviews from everyone on Newegg...whats all the EVGA hype about? If anything I hear its easier to OC with an Asus
