New to this site and the DS community. I just purchased the following machine from DigitalStorm after researching all the companies out there. My co-worker led me to iBuypower but after reading reviews of them, I was not going to spend $3000 with them. I then found DS and all the glowing reviews and speaking with their sales and techs really put me at ease. Here is my config. Let me know what you think.

Things I see right off the bat:

I'd drop the second SSD and put in a standard HDD in it's place.  With only 128gb total in your system you are going to run out of space quickly.

Swap the V8 out for a Noctua.

Unless you need Bitlocker, drop the Win 7 to Professional.

Drop the proc to the 930.  They overclock well and the difference between it and the 960 isn't worth the $$$

Some folks will criticize your choice of MLB.  Personally I like Asus.

What res are you going to be running at?

The SSD's are only for the OS and apps. I have 2 1TB drives that I will be popping in for storage. Personally I prefer Asus as well.

What are the differences between the V8 and the Noctua?

I've heard bad things about the reliability of the V8.  The Noctuas are supposed to be excellent air coolers - I know most of the folks on the boards here think they're great.

Hmmm....I wonder if it's too late to change it.

Thanks JJJJ

If you just ordered today, you should have time to change it.
They're pretty accommodating - I made several changes to my order after I placed it.
Just shoot them a message from the customer service page.
