Yeah, it's just that when I was browsing around for a new computer, I was DOING stuff you know. Now I'm trying to keep my mind off it but I just can't help checking my e-mail so many times for updates, haha. I guess I'm that "are we there yet?" kid now.

Pretty nice one to be honest. Its gonna be fairly top of the line (minus an extreme CPU) but with lots of room to expand later. The total price is 2666.
Thats the build there abouts.
I plan to add more Ram (hence the 64 bit), a second GX2, and maybe a sound card later on.

That looks sweet! A real big improvement to your current rig, no offense! =)
Why are you going for a duo rather than a quad?

I went with duo the right now because i plan on upgrading the mobo and CPU to handle the intel Nehalem sometime in the future. Id say late 2009ish, I never really buy the mega high end processors. All the rumors around it is that its gonna be one hell of a chip. So for me the duo fits better, since i plan to upgrade it down the road. It also has the added benefit of using less power then a quad and giving out less heat. Im banking on the fact that games probably wont be tuned for quad cores in say the next year to two years. And really even if they are...it wont be too much of a problem for me...most games arnt CPU bottlenecked. And an overclocked 8400 wont be a low end choice either.

I had a car repair (900 bucks) and an emergency dentist visit (1600 bucks, not insured DOH!) kinda drain my account a few times over the past two months haha. So almost had to rebuild from scratch.
I also spend computer fund money already for like..computer stuff.
New power strip/protector $26
New Keyboard : $68 bucks
New 27.5 monitor: $429.99.
But now that i have all that...im ready to get the computer itself!!! and well..maybe a mouse..haha.
