I wasn't sure where to post this or if i should of just called support but here i am so if I'm in the wrong place just tell me.
I just recieved my Lumos today and it performs great but i can't get over the obsessively loud fan noises both when idle and gaming. This is my first desktop and i didn't expect the computer to be dead silent but i can hear the fans through my noise canceling headphones even when i'm just on the desktop and they get even louder when i'm in a game. Maybe this is normal but i was hoping for some insight. In MSI afterburner i see temps of 33c on desktop and like 60s when i play a game such as CSGO. But once again I'm probably reading something wrong. Ill post my config below. Thanks in advance. Congratulations and welcome to DS. That is a very nice system. The fans sound like they are on max speed. I don't know how to control their speed, I have the DS Control Center but you can also control from the motherboard. I am sure someone will be along and shine some light on that procedure. You will love your Lumos once the noise comes down. ![]() |

I have the same motherboard. Assuming the case fans are connected to the motherboard pins, you can go into bios and change the fan setting. If the case fans are connected to the power supply then it will run at max speed, I believe. If the loud fan noise is coming from your cpu cooler, you can use MSI Afterburner to change the fan settings for your cpu.
