change your cpu to 920, you will never notice teh difference.

change your gpu to 275 896MB, you will never notice the difference.

change cooling to frostbite or Noctua NH-U12P.

change your HDD1 to ssd or veloci

the rest looks good.

when I say you will never notice the difference, I mean if I came in the middle of the night and change those stuff out, the next morning you would never be able to tell I did that from performance.

Thanks, I'll think about your recommendations. The stuff I picked was more looking at the long term viability of the system.

there will be no difference between what I'm recommending and what you have picked in both performance and long term viability.

as a matter of fact some of the things picked have better long term viability.

the 960 isn't gonna last any longer then the 920.

the 285 is not gonna out perform the 275 to the point were you would notice a difference now or in the future. the 2GB vram makes no difference, which is why I didn't recommend the 1792MB version of 275 and recommended the 896MB instead, and the 285 isn't gonna last any longer then the 275 either, all it does is cost more money then the 275.

asetek will not last as long at Noctua.

hope all that helps and good luck

Maybe someone can answer this, but I take it my order won't show up in the tracking system till Monday. I know they're closed on weekends and I already have the confirmation email, but was just wondering that.

Got in contact with Sarah and made a few changes. Configuration is the same as above, but now with a CPU to the 920 and the cooler to the Noctua, but I wanted to the keep the GTX 285. I plan on upgrading to a SSD once the prices drop more probably later in 2010.
