Need to know what kind of backlighting i have so i can download the driver or software from somewhere. I understand it was one of the discs that digital storm gave to me. But that is currently in another state. I have the krypton laptop. But im sure they use the same drivers for the lighting. Just need to know what it is and a possible download link? Thanks

I believe the Krypton is the Clevo p177sm, or similar. I would go to their website and download the driver you need for your OS version.   It would be the latest.

As of Dec'15, Clevo didn't have Win 10 drivers and some are having keyboard issues. Rolling back to a previous OS was suggested by DS.   Not sure it effects you.

Lighting is handled through the Hotkey software which is on the disc you received, but I found a download link on Sager's site (Sager uses Clevo chassis).

That's for Windows 8.1. I didn't see you mention what OS is currently on your Krypton, but if Win 10, there are issues with the P177SM and Windows 10.  Keyboard and Touchpad drivers were not available for it.
