Okay, so I sent customer service a question days ago and once again it has gone unanswered. Where is this mystical amazing customer service I've always heard of? This isn't the first time I've been ignored.

So my question is, what happened to the Krypton? Did they quit making a 17" laptop and is the only option now the behemoth? Or, is Krypton up for a refresh? Getting a QHD screen? I doubt that, but it would be cool. Anyway, can anyone answer this? What's going on with the 17" laptop?

It does, thanks. I saw it after. Of course I've been scouring the hardware forum and then decide my question should be posted to general.....but I didn't check it first. Duh.

I was really hoping for a 4k screen, but I actually hear there's a lot of scaling issues with higher res screens, so I guess it's going to take time to fix that. I'm also hoping I like the next version of windows better. Love windows 7, but I realize there are advantages to 8. Disadvantages too. I guess I'm just waiting for the next perfect laptop. Will krypton be it?

You should check and make sure any messages they sent didn't go into your spam folder
