hey guys i got a lachesis mouse and it was working great till today a driver updater froze so i alt+f4ed out of it and now the computer isnt recognizing the mouse, i tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times and changed ports a few times as well, but when i open the lachesis config page it says that the device isnt found, so if anyone with more razer driver experience can help it'd be appreciated.

sounds like when you are uninstalling the drivers, they are not getting uninstalled, to be honest I have no experience with your mouse and mouse and keyboard are not my area of expertise, if you will, but it sounds like something is holding on to the mouse, reboot go to safe mode and uninstall the drivers, then reboot to normal desktop and install drivers.

if you know where the drivers are being installed, after you uninstall drivers in safemode, while in safemode, go and delete the folder that contains the drivers then reboot and install drivers.

I had this problem after I formatted my PC a while ago with the G7. I just restarted and everything worked fine . . . :\

reformat is overkill for a problem like this, like I said, a driver or software or registry key is left and holding the mouse, do what I said and let me know how it goes.

@MyNameisBrian, all you had to do was to find a driver cleaner or just repair the OS.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. It happened AFTER I reformatted my computer. All I did was restart the computer and it worked fine again. :\
