The only options I'm showing on the configurator for Radeon graphics are the higher end ones around $1,000 or so.  Are they pulling the mid-tier models?

The only mid-tier AMD they have offered here for a very long while was the 5700XT. About equivalent to a GTX 1080, which they don't offer, either. The RTX 3060 Ti is over 20% stronger at around the same retail price point.

Well just a week ago there were a LOT more Radeon offerings, which is why I brought this up.

Not really a big deal as it'll be a while before I place my next order, just though it was odd.

Would it be okay to go with an AMD cpu and Geforce gpu build?  I'm guessing that it is.  I don't really need the highest end graphics.

The Lumos model is likely what I'll get.  Seems like a good airflow PC.

Well, I didn't see that. Things change in the DS Configurator all the time without notice. The 5000 series AMD Radeons are over a year and a half old, and Nvidia has 2 generations up on them, and the AMD 6000 series are competitive with some Nvidia 3000s. DS will give you a budget option or two when it makes sense, but having an inventory of obsolete GPUs doesn't.

It is perfectly fine to select Nvidia for an AMD platform. DLSS is a superior tech, and AMD is working on an answer for it. (FidelityFX Super Resolution)
