Laptop Attachments - What's Better?

I will be able to afford my laptop within a month or two, and am really looking towards accessories/attachments. I already have a case picked out to use to take it to work and school when I start and Security for viruses and online. However, because I will be playing games, I am undecided about a mouse and headset.

I'll mostly be playing First Person Shooters and an MMO or two here and there with my brother across the country. I don't need a top of the line headset or mouse, but they need to get the job done. I have links below to the ones I have been looking into where I work, and was curious if I could get some opinions on whether they'll be suitable for first person shooters (headset) and if the mice are responsive and accurate enough (for the games).
