My girlfriend needs a new laptop and is considering buying one from DS depending on how my new rigg turns out. If it's a lemon she said then she will buy another over priced viao pos and I want her to get her moneys worth. She needs one for internet, itunes,video/photo editing and word programs. She also wants it to last 4 years or so. Here is some configurations I came up with(ticket#'s 198814, 198815, 198816 and 198817) and need some help. She wants to keep the price in the lower $2000 range. Any help would be appreciated. “ Chris call me with your input when you can.” DST4ME you give good recommendations, any info?

She is ok with a 15 inch. Are the configurations I did good for what she will use it for? Which would you go with. We are trying to get the most for the price.

multi tasker not a gamer. Myself Ithink 4GB and the 2.8GHz processer. But what about HDD's, raid 1 or single HDD and vista 32 or 64? It has to be 64 if she gets 4GBs.

its better to go with 64bit so you use all your ram, if you go 4GB.
HDD choose 7200rpm, if not just go with 5200rpm, she does not need raid and all that. |
