I have all but hit the 'Buy Now' button on an S17 laptop, but I have a couple questions before I commit:
 
Can anyone tell me the difference between the i7 processor on the S17 and the new i7 mobile processors now out?  The desktop processors in the DS laptop appear to be superior, but these i7 mobile processors are 'newer'.  I am not tech savvy and had to wipe blood from my eyes after trying to read the technical information.  Can anyone help explain?Censored
 
I am also concerned about the amount of heat coming from a laptop with a desktop platform.  I don't want to feel like I'm turning on an electric heater when I boot up my computer.  Is there anyone out there with an S17 that can give me their impressions about this particular system?
 
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The desktop processor is gonna be stronger.

laptops heat up pretty quick no matter what you get.

keep in mind these laptops have only a one year warranty.
