If I have a laptop with a wireless modem, and a printer/fax/coppier with a wireless modem (port whatever it's called) can I print through the wireless connection or does a wireless router need to be in there somewhere?

If I'm not mistaken the base needs to be there so they can communicate, but I'm no expert on that subject.
