Just bought my first DS rig a month ago, and already they've phased out my model. So here's my specs any way.    Big%20smile

Model: M15 (weight 6.8 lbs)  Centrino 2 Montevina platform
Intel core 2 duo P8600 2.4 GHz (1066 MHz FSB) (3MB Cache)
4 GB DDR 2 800MHz
250 GB 8000 RPM SATA Hard drive (8MB Cache)
ATI Radeon HD3650 512MB
2.0 mega pixel Video Camera, Fingerprint reader, Blue tooth

This laptop is not too bad for less than $1300. I mean it'll blow the monitor off what I bought for two hundred dollars more four years ago!Sleepy
If you are considering a laptop for drawing in three dimensional environments, or maybe something that can handle some RPG's or older FPS games like Half Life 2 or Doom 3 this setup will do the job. I would recommend investing in a proper cool pad though. Or maybe try cooking some bacon when you try some heavy lifting. I bought a LAPCOOL PRO with the dual 120mm fans and aluminum heat transfer pad, keeps things cool as a cucumber.Smile

Best part, there was absolutely no crapware installed on it. Just Vista and the necessary software for the builtin features. Digital storm even managed to avoid one of my biggest problems with laptop graphics cards, thats right folks an open architecture laptop. I can go straight to ATI for driver updates...ErmmThat's so cool!
