So, I just ordered my laptop, the xm15 Level 3, and I was wondering about something. Do the Laptops get quality & stress checked like the Desktops?

Yes, the testing process and such is different for our laptops, but, they both are excellent and we stand behind all of our products.

Ah man. That's disappointing. I was looking to nab one of those xm17's since I am now reduced to a safe-mode-only IBM thinkpad that freezes every 15 minutes. Need something soon before I go bananas and toss this thing out the window.

haha i know what you mean. my laptop overheats after 20 mins of gaming and only goes past the bios if i unplug all my usb devices :(

I know, I AM IN AGONY IN WAITING. I find myself just calling Digital storm just to ask questions that don't really matter. Of course right when I am ready sandy bridge craps out. As soon as you can get sandy bridge in your laptop I will have a order the next day.

Lucky you. A day later and my laptop now freezes within seconds of loading windows, even in safe mode. It's dying a slow death.

Clevo needs to get those laptops done already! Is the delay due to the recall?

Huh. I thought that particular model from Clevo only allowed 2 storage-related devices (one HDD and one multimedia),  so they would use the two native SATA 6G ports...which would mean there would be no need for the recall.

I guess the real issue, then, is the eSATA port. Too bad. I never use it, and I don't know anyone who does...but someone must, I suppose.

Ah well. In the end it's best that they send out products that work the right way, eh? :p
