Hello Everyone!
I’m very excited to get my first PC ever (Lynx level 3) and I have a few questions that hopefully some of you veterans and previous DS customers might know the answer to. My receipt says I should Expect it by the end of April, but today is the 23rd and I’m still in stage 1. I assume that due to the COVID-19 I should expect delay until May? but those who are ordering through these hard times, how are your orders looking out? How long does each stage take (specially stage one)?

From one stage 1 to another: hang in there! You got this! You can make it!

I am thinking that with COVID going on any past customer experiences are not really going to be the same as what we experience now. I am super not patient at all and its killing me to wait but I’m also glad I know they will take their time to make sure the job is done right instead of just fast.

As for how long each stage takes I got an email the first business day after my order that broke down an estimated number of days for each stage. Keep a look out for that. I would post the times here but I’m thinking it might be different for your pre-configured model, probably faster than mine!

So much congrats on your first PC ever being a DS! What a great choice!

A lengthy stage one just means you are parked in a backlog with other orders that have not begun building. Once building begins, it will move right along, and complete fairly quickly as long as no issues crop up in stress testing.

Because of the unique issues presented by the virus, we need to respect the fact DS doesn't have complete control over available personnel from day to day. Patience will pay off, because every DS rig is worth the wait!

Yea i'm still stuck on stage one after ordering it on the 11th of April. I was told to give it 6 weeks . Hang in there we are in this together lol. It'll all be worth it!

Yep, that's all a person can do, wait for your turn to receive your new DS system. I suspect the wait will be well worth it!

I will definitely keep you updated since you and I ordered the same rig pretty much the same day. Let’s keep each other updated to see where we are in terms of stages!!

Ordered my lumos April 9th it’s at stage 2 right now. Keeping my fingers crossed I get that email saying stage 3 today.

April 9th- April 22nd stage 1 :(
