Hello!

I'm making some liquid cooling modifications to my computer. I'm going to be performing two leak tests (one outside the computer first and then one inside). For the outside one i'm mainly checking to make sure that my new rad and new compression fittings don't leak. Therefore my question is should i take off my CPU waterblock (which i have already been using and has proved not to leak) and test it out in the outside leak test?

The only reason i don't want to is because I wasn't sure how much of a hasstle it is to remove and then reapply thermal paste.

Opinions?

removing thermal paste is easy, if you have some remover like ArtiClean. reapplying is a bit confusing, you just gotta know the best place to reapply.

if you double check, to make sure all of the fittings are tight, and of the hoses are all the way on, and clamped, and have a ton of paper towels covering everything, I would fire it up inside.
