IF I choose the HAF 922 stock(or heck even the Blue Advanced)
and choose the Chassis Airflow upgrade for Green LED fans, Will DS replace the stock fans with green ones?

I just really have my heart set on green LED and green internal lighting...I could settle for blue I suppose, but under no circumstances want Red, I have enough creepy red light reflections in my home as it is lol.

the fans DS uses are smaller than the fans the haf comes with, haf has 200mm fans, the led fans here are 120mm fans, and louder than the 200mm fans.

you can go blue, they make the haf 922 fans in blue led also:

haf 200mm blue led fans.

if you go with the haf 922 blue version you will not have teh option of adding a third 200mm fan to the side, but if you get the regualr 922, and then ask DS to change the front and top fan with the 200mm blue led one, and add another 200mm blue led to the side, you endup with 3 x 200mm blue led for best air flow.

there is an option to get it in green, but you will lose air flow, you can lose 200mm green led fans that are not the same as the oem fans, thus they have lower air flow but are green:

200mm green led, this fan has airflow of 79cfm vs the oem which has 119cfm.

or you can ask DS to paint the blades of a non led 200mm ooem fan uv green and then with the uv lights they will glow uv green.

or you can ask them to paint it regular green and use green lighting in the case.

Just to make sure I understand.

The HAF 922 blue advanced still comes with 2 200mm blue LED fans, yes? no?

Also if the above is true, how bad,(or potentially good?) would the overlap be if the LED fans are blue, and I added the $10 green internal lighting?

From what I understand, yes it comes with 2 blue led fans, but you don't have the option to add teh side fan.

IMHO its important to have the third fan for best airflow.

as for overlap, I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but blue and green should look good together.

Since we're on the discussion of led fans, is there actually a spot on the side door of the HAF case to mount the extra 200mm non-led fan that you suggest? Or does DS have to mod it?

922 blue version does not have the spot on the side.

the regular 922 does have a spot on the side.

Ok, that's what I thought. I just didn't notice any mounting brackets on the side door of the regular HAF 922 case.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Nice; I can see why you like this case so much. Awesome sized-fans and plenty of cooling, as well as good air-flow potential. It's not a bad looking case, either. I like it.
