So the led strip that came with my lumos was not plugged in? Does this go to the motherboard or psu?

Hmmm, sorry about that. Definitely would plug into the motherboard just like a fan header. See if you find an open receptacle nearby. Be sure you are grounded, and its always a good idea to unplug your system from the wall. After you unplug, press and hold the power on button for several seconds to discharge capacitors on the motherboard. This is all very precautionary, but safe. Good luck.

If you can't figure this out, call DS support and they will walk you through it on the phone.
