Budget:
$1,200. Includes keyboard, Corsair Vengeance K70.

Expectations:
I to be able to play in mid-ultra settings in most games.

The problem I am facing, is that I used to have a Lenovo Ideacentre k430, but it didn't perform on anything but low settings. So I bought a MSI Geforce GTX 660 oc edition. When I installed it, and I am 100% sure that I installed it right, it didn't work, because apparently Lenovo installed some software where it destroys the system if I try to install new components. So I sold the old computer, but I still have the graphics card. I am afraid that if I build my own, it will not work, and just be to much work.

So My question is, should I just get the level 2, and install the second graphics card, or save up even more, and install it in the level 3. Keep in mind that I only have about $1000 right now, and It will probably take a while to upgrade even more.

I would call Digital Storm. From what I have seen on the forums you can ship them the graphics card and they will install it. You might consider Level 3 for an i5 instead of the i3. I think that would probably meet your budget if they are able to take your graphics card and install it.

If you're talking about adding your gtx 660 to a Vanquish system for sli, 2x gtx660 then you have two issues.    The motherboards in the Vanquish line can't do sli and you'd need another of the same card, gtx660 installed.     A custom build with a Gryphon or Sabertooth card to name a couple, would be needed.

The second Pciex16 slot in Vanquish is not useable for sli.

Hope this helps.

To go along with bprat22, here's a build that is within earshot of your budget (includes your kb as well) but allows SLI. It's setup with a 660 that may work with the one you currently have. Or you could contact DS and see if they could use your 660 which might put this right in line with your budget and allow you to upgrade to SLI later.

If this is too far from your current/future budget, then I'd recommend the Stage 3 Vanquish - CPU & GPU upgrades over the Stage 2 are most definitely worth the ~$200.
